About our journey
Sydney Life Church was founded in 2002 and has been worshipping and serving the Sydney North Shore community since then. Starting the church in one of the most expensive cities in the world has had its challenges, one of them being that we have been using rented facilities all these years. Renting buildings has been difficult and because of that we have moved buildings a few times (within the same community) over the years and we feel the time to secure and put our roots down in a permanent location has come. We are excited about what God has done and continues to do through SLC and we are full of faith that there is a permanent home for us!
Our vision
In our new home, we want to serve our current church community with excellence in providing our usual Sunday services but also adding to that by running training courses, social events and special services.
We would like to impact our surrounding local community by offering services to those less fortunate, hosting special interest groups (mothers groups, seniors services and social groups, etc) and offering place where new people to our city can connect with others and make new friends.
We hope to include the following in our new space:
